a) Today, we shall continue in our study of 1Timothy 3:15.

v15. But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

In consideration of integrity, we shall examine the three key words indicated here: house, Living and pillar. Check the following references on them.

1. HOUSE

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour. 2 Timothy 2:20 KJV. Take your integrity out of wood and earth range to the level of a vessel of gold. Pray now and be determined.

2. THE LIVING GOD:

For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. 1 Timothy 4:10 KJV. Take heart to labour and suffer reproach for the sake of the Saviour of all men. Continue to imbibe the principles of integrity and place your trust in Him. He cares especially because you are a believer.

3. PILLAR:

For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land. And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the Lord , to deliver thee. Jeremiah 1:18‭-‬19 KJV. The Lord has ordained you to stand as an iron pillar with integrity and He shall continue to be with you as they fight against you. He did that to Daniel over 70 years after making this pronouncement. It was not possible for the other principals and governors in the realm to stand up successfully against him.
