Thursday, Day 31 of the Spiritual Workout for Spiritual Transformation

a) Today, is the last day of the year 2020. Generally referred to as a challenging year, there are ample reasons to bless the name of the Lord. Let us bless God in the words of Psalm 103:1-6.

” Bless the Lord , O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the Lord , O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.”

Also today, let us embark on a short study of the POWER GIFTS by looking at the following references under each of them:

Gifts of power, that is, working gifts.
a) Gift of faith. This is supernatural ability to believe God without human doubt, unbelief and reasonings (Romans 4:17; James 1:5-8; Matthew 17:20; 21:22; Mark 9:23; 11:22-24; Hebrews 11:6; 12:1-3).


b) The gifts of healing. This is supernatural power to heal all manner of sickness without human aid or medicine ( Mk. 16:18; John 14:12; 1 Corinthians 12:9)


c) The working of miracles. This is supernatural power to intervene in the ordinary course of nature and to counteract natural laws if necessary (1 Corinthians 12:10; 27:31; Hebrews 2:3-4; Psalm 107; Exodus 7:10-14:21; 2 Kings 4:1-44; 6:1-7; Matthew 17:20; Mk. 9:23; 11:22-24; John: 14:12)


I am sure you have learnt so much about power gifts. It is now time to covet them earnestly.

b) Carry out 15-minute spiritual exercises twice as detailed in activity b below ??.
c) Pray 1 hour in the Spirit
d) Refresh your spirit every 2 hours.
e) Take time to thank, bless and worship God again.
